It is with a deep sense of gratitude and fulfillment that I share a moment that marks the end of my tenure as the Chief Audit Executive Majlis Chairperson for the UAE Institute of Internal Auditors for the period Jan to Dec 2023. Serving in this pioneering role has been both an honor and a great opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our internal audit profession while having the chance to network and get to know new fellow CAEs. Today, as I step down from this role, I am profoundly touched by the token of appreciation presented to me by Abdulqader Ali , the esteemed Chairperson of the UAE IAA Board. This gesture not only symbolizes the culmination of my journey but also the unwavering support and collaborative spirit that defines our internal audit community.As I pass on the baton, I look forward to witnessing the new heights the CAE Majlis will reach under the capable stewardship of the incoming leadership Ali Al Hosani , CIA , EMBA , PRINCE2, CFE and the CAE Majlis Committee members. Thanks to all of those who have not only attended our session but also passionately engaged in the discussions and actively played the role of CAEs and Audit Committee Members in a what we call a real world scenarios… It was an enrichment experience and I was thrilled to have had the opportunity to co-lead the discussions and get to network with Great Audit Minds peers.
