Industry vets and newbies. There are still good companies out there. Companies that value their employees and genuinely care about their well being and not just how they can benefit the company. I’m speaking from personal experience, I spent the first 10+ years of my career as just a billable number with no growth potential.I’ve experienced the brother-n-law effect, the good ole boy stigma knowing I was a higher caliber employee but kept getting passed over because I wasn’t in the clique its a daunting feeling. The NDT and inspection industry is still very much that way until someone steps up and says enough is enough. Let’s do things different let’s take care of the ones who take care of us. I am so happy and blessed to be part of that change whether it be a small or big. The company I’m with at its core is an employee first company. We take care of our people unlike any company I’ve ever been apart of. I believe my guys will certainly share these sentiments. The point of me saying this is in my area the Baton Rouge corridor it’s been so bogged down by the the big 3 and if your from here I don’t need to name them. It’s time for a change. Time for fresh views, realistic goals and attainable achievements. It’s time for career growth and a company that promotes it. I believe it’s time for PROtect.
